VIP Style Awards.

The VIP Style awards were on last Friday in the Shelbourne.......I don't really know what to make of them. I suppose you can sum them up by saying that Jordan was the most famous face there and she wore a stomach exposing crochet...thing. In saying that there were some lovely dresses there and the one that stole the show for me was definately Sarah Morrissey. Stunnning! Not mad on the winner Claudine Palmers dress. I felt it was a bit much and not particularly stylish, just bling really. Anyway below are my best and worst dressed.

Summer Wish List.

I tried giving up shopping for lent but it's not going too well because I had a little slip up at the weekend and went for a "browse" but left with 3 bags. Whoops. Anyway i'm still holding off on plenty of this to buy after Easter so here's my Summer Wish List so far....

Loving Summer 2011 Block colours.

Really loving this years block colour trend. I've started digging out all my brightly coloured dresses and skirts in preparation for the good weather! 

I need to find a belt like those gold ones in the picture. The closest i've seen is in M&S but i'm going to keep searching!

Elie Saab...current obsession!

Olivia Palermo.

I can't get enough of this girls style! Oh to spend a day in her wardrobe! Like everyone she has her off days but in general her style is spot on. The right amount of high fashion meets everyday simple style. She always manages to mix a few key pieces with plainer items to create just the right look like a plain top and blazer with a fab necklace.

Handbags At Dawn.

Haven't been on in a while..been crazy busy with work! I finally got the white ASOS dress from the earlier post! Still waiting for it to arrive but as soon as it gets here I'll post some pics of it.

Just got a new handbag, the red one in the photo below, but I'm still going to be using my PB one...I just can't let go of it completely so I'll be working out of the two!

Forever 21 Sale!

I got an email the other day about a sale starting on the Forever21 website. I wouldn't normally go onto that site but I was in the mood for some browsing and funds were low so a good sale was what I needed....9 items in my basket later and I was wishing I'd never opened my emails. Wish List

I've been waiting for weeks now for Asos to get this dress back into stock! I love the back of it because it really differentiates it from a plain white shift dress. It would be great paired with a chunky gold necklace and some nude shoes.

Fingers crossed they get it back in soon because I already have a fab topshop gold leaf chunky necklace and nude shoes. (Not louboutin unfortunately, but pretty close!) so it'd be rude not to have the dress to join them.

Getting into Blogging.

Right so I've decided to start blogging.  I had started blogging as part of a college assignment for an elective  two years ago but now I want to blog for real and not just as part of an assignment. In saying that I can't delete my old posts because a few of them make me laugh remembering trying to find the bits and pieces with the girls!

The main purposes of me starting to blog is to be able to put down on paper (or my screen) things I see and love. Simple as that! I often see things while shopping online that, while I my bank may not let me have it, at least I can put it on here! It's also a way for me to have new looks and trends that I personally like in one place.
